Guests love to enjoy a nice cozy fire by the water after dinner and tell the day’s stories. You’re welcome to cast off the dock or wade into the river when the water level allows. We want you to make yourself at home at South Holston River Lodge.
During the off season, typically January 1st – February 28th, South Holston River Lodge cabins are available to be rented either by anglers or guests just wanting to enjoy the beautiful setting.
The availability of these cabins as rentals is limited to the off season & in the event that all-inclusive trips are booked during that time, rental status is not available. We also support non-profit organizations during this time such as Project Healing Waters and other Friends & Affiliates. Please feel free to call the lodge to check rental availability during that time at 423.878.3457 and we’ll do our best to accommodate. We also still run guide trips during the off season.
The “BWO” as we call it is our dining facility that is conveniently located at the center of the property. The BWO has two private bedrooms upstairs for those that would like to be close to the action.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and one full bath with a stand-up shower with all of your linens included. The large bedroom is furnished with two queen size beds, the other bedroom features a full bed and a set of bunks. Both bedrooms offer heating and cooling units for your comfort as well as cable and internet access.
The view from the porch of the BWO that overlooks the river will leave you speechless as you identify the trout you will be fishing for during your stay. This cabin is well appointed and is perfect for 2-4 anglers.
The Mayfly Cabin is a three-story cabin nestled on the banks of the South Holston River. Arriving on the main floor you will find the den with four mission style recliner’s, gas fireplace, 50″ HDTV with Blu-ray DVD player and Wi-Fi access for your convenience along with a full bathroom.
The third floor boasts two cozy bedrooms and one full bath, both bathrooms are furnished with linens. Both bedrooms have two full beds, cable television and heating and cooling units for your comfort. On the lower level you will find the game room furnished with a pool table, ping-pong table, jukebox and card table. This cabin is perfect for two couples or four anglers.
The balcony on The Mayfly overlooking the South Holston River offers a breathtaking view that is second to none. You may enjoy this view from the benches or rocking chairs off the game room.
The Caddis Cabin is a spacious one room cabin furnished with 1 Queen and 1 Full bed and also a twin bed in the sleeping loft. This cozy cabin includes a heating and cooling unit for your comfort, wireless internet access, flat screen TV and a lounging area to rest after catching fish all day.
This cabin has a panoramic view of the entire property and a walkway directly to the river and fire pit. This cabin has an open floor plan make these accommodations extremely comfortable for two fisherman or a small family.
