DESTINATION TRAVEL Cancellation Policy

Because destination fly-fishing trips require advance commitments for lodging, guides, transportation, meals, and other services, cancellations can result in costs that cannot be
recovered. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide reasonable flexibility while protecting the availability and reservations required to operate your trip.

Reservation Deposit
A 50% deposit of the total trip price is required to secure your reservation. Your reservation is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

Guest Cancellations

  • More than 90 days before arrival: Deposit and payments are refundable, less any
non-refundable fees charged by lodges, airlines, outfitters, or other third-party providers.
  • 60–89 days before arrival: 50% of payments received will be refundable or transferable
to a future trip, less applicable third-party fees.
  • Less than 60 days before arrival: Payments are non-refundable and are not
transferable unless the cancelled space can be resold.
  • No-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused portions of a trip: No refunds
    will be provided.

Rescheduling / Replacement Guest
If you need to cancel, we will make reasonable efforts to resell your trip dates. If your space is successfully resold, we will refund or credit the recovered amount, less any applicable
administrative fees and unrecoverable costs. With prior approval, you may also transfer your reservation to another qualified guest for the same trip dates.

Weather, Travel Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances
Trip cancellations or interruptions caused by weather, airline delays or cancellations, mechanical problems, illness, personal emergencies, government restrictions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control are subject to the SHRL Travel cancellation policy. If conditions require us to cancel the trip before departure, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the trip or provide a credit or refund based on amounts recovered from our lodging and service providers.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel and trip-cancellation insurance at the time your deposit is paid. Travel insurance can help protect your investment against covered circumstances such as trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, travel delays, lost baggage, and other unforeseen events.
PLEASE OBTAIN TRIP INSURANCE.

Cancellation in Writing
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The effective cancellation date is the date written notice is received by us. Payment of a deposit or any subsequent payment constitutes acknowledgment that the guest has read, understood, and agreed to these cancellation and payment terms.
