SHRL has been honored to be an Orvis® endorsed lodge since 2016, In fact, we are the only all-inclusive Orvis® endorsed lodge in our region that caters specifically to the South Holston and Watauga Tailwaters in Eastern Tennessee. We’re honored to have been nominated as a 2024 Finalist for Orvis® Endorsed Fly-Fishing Lodge of the Year and so grateful to have been recognized as the 2025 Orvis® Endorsed Fly-Fishing Lodge of the Year!

Trout Unlimited members enjoy connecting with fellow anglers and the TU community. Many also give of their time, volunteering over 700,000 hours every year to protect, reconnect and restore our trout and salmon fisheries

International Angler is a full service Fly Fishing Shop just 10 minutes west of Pittsburgh, PA in Robinson Township. They specialize in Premier Fishing Destination Travel Trips around the US and other areas; and Guided Fishing Trips in Pennsylvania.
Since 2017 our community has come together for the Annual Bill Beazell & Allen Robbins Memorial Tailwater Roundup. During the day our local guides, fisherman, river lovers and friends come together to clean up our tailwaters, both on the South Holston & Watauga Rivers. We’re a proud sponsor of this program and we don’t mind getting dirty to keep our waters clean! We’ve moved tons of trash from our rivers over the years and the turn out keeps growing.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. Began In 2005 serving wounded military service members at Walter Reed Army Medical Center returning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since then, PHW has expanded nationwide, establishing its highly successful program in Department Of Defense Hospitals, Warrior Transition Units, And Veterans Affairs Medical Centers & clinics. SHRL welcomes Project Healing Waters each February.
